The world is but a canvas to the imagination!
Last Sunday, we sent Emma and Laurent on an adventure at the Little Planet @ Centrepoint - a miniature world filled with imaginative and purposeful play.
The two of them had great fun role-playing at the various theme stations, like farm, marketplace and castle, that were built to scale to mimic the grown up's world.
1. Forest Maze
After registration and temperature taking, we walked through a little green canopy.
Right ahead, there was the forest maze where the children get to run around or even have some picnic. There are some nets at the trees for them to keep their treasures or harvest.
2. Farm
Upon entry, Emma was quick to spot Laurent and rushed to join him at the farm! Both of them then went on to collect their harvest enthusiastically.
To ensure some sustainability, Emma also planted some carrots back.
Besides carrots and cabbages, there were also celery, lotus roots and ginger. What a great harvest!
Emma was looking like a strong and serious farmer when she pushed this cute little wheelbarrow. It seems easy but it actually required some skills to balance on a wheel.
At the right corner of the sprouting harvest, there was a field for more farming. After some encouragement, Emma overcame her fear and stepped in soil-pit.
They weren't real soil but just some seeds - much more cleaner than the real soil and got shake off really easy!
The kids love to dig and scoop the "soil" using shovels and small ladle (from the kitchen, I think).
Then, pour them into the containers.
I taught Emma how to sprinkle the "soil".
She found the sprinkling "soil" interesting and tried it too! I was pretty impressed as she took a shorter time to get use to the sandy texture than she did at Bintan.
Her little feet weren't spared and were hidden for a brief moment! Haha.
3. Fishing Area
The "kids" also became fishing boys and girl that day!
Over at the fishing pond, they got to hook up the sea creatures using the magnetic fishing rod.
Emma was all fascinated when Daddy caught a starfish!
4. Marketplace
After much hunting, farming and fishing, our little ones were hungry and went wild at the marketplace.

The two of them almost cleared all the fresh bakes!
Look at their truckloads of bread!
The macaroons looked so yummy!
And I almost thought that the cakes are real!
After a round of bread feasting, it was time for some fruits.
The pear was so juicy and Emma was so tempted to give it a big bite!
There were lots of vegetables too!
How about some seafood? They were indeed spoilt for choices!
If you have not noticed in the previous Friso post, Emma loves to sort things. She picked up the baskets, arranged them according to colours and placed the bread in them.
However, she couldn't resist a fake bite first. Haha.
5. Kitchen & Cafe
Guess what? Emma was still hungry and decided to whip up a meal.
She washed her hands and searched around for her utensils.
She finally found lots of them at the island.
She loves to hang around when I cook and it looked like she has learnt well. She went on to place the pots and turn on the fire without any guidance.
Oh yay, the food was ready and she said grace before "chomping them down."
6. Castle
They finally had their fill and went to raid the castle.

Emma loves the castle playhouse and kept going in and out of it.
There was a slide - steeper and more thrilling than the one at home.
The floor was lightly padded so there were some foam mats for the little bums to land on. However, we still stood close by to catch her in case she fall hard.
Ehhm, what happen to you?
Oh, this looks better!
Unlike the big indoor playgrounds filled with big slides and rides, I must admit that I found the place a little small at first. However, it turned out that this small and interconnect play areas have more things for a 2 year old to play with. She has been into role-playing and tea party so this place is just perfect for her. Her favourite were the marketplace, kitchen and castle. If not because of her nap, I would think she could play there the whole day!
There are lots of room for interactive play, hands-on learning experiences and role playing that are suitable for children up to 12 years of age. It's a nice place for small group playdates! Besides, there is also an art & craft area for hands-on handicraft work. This area also doubles up as a function room for birthday parties and events. It looks like a really convenient and fun place to hold a party.
If you are interested to pop by for a visit, it costs $25 per child for unlimited play on weekdays and 2 hour play on weekends for children above 1 year above. Children under 1 get to play for free!
Updated: There is a 20% off their membership that is currently going at $250 for 12 play sessions. With the discount, it costs $200 for 12 play sessions and that works out to be $16.70. And, these sessions can be shared with friends too! :)
Some tips before I end off!
Tip 1: Don't forget to bring an anti-slip sock as it can be a little slippery to wear a normal sock.
Tip 2: It would be good to make a trip to the toilet before entering as the toilet is at the 5th floor in Metro.
Tip 3: Remember to ask your kid to drink the real water!
Tip 4: Bring a small sling bag to keep your valuables as there aren't any lockers.
Tip 5: Visit on a weekday for an unlimited play
And... Happy role-playing!
