Do you know that it's suitable for children to take chicken essence?

When I was schooling, my mum always prepare a bottle of chicken essence for me before examinations. She said it will help to keep me alert. Since then, I always enjoy taking chicken essence despite its unique taste. When I grew up, I learnt that all not chicken essence are made the same. I especially love those double boiled one that I had during confinement as they are really yummy and good stuff! But, how often can we brew such chicken essence ourselves? 

When Tian Yuan Xiang shared with me about their rich and pure chicken essence, I was so excited to give it a try. Every bowl of Tian Yuan Xiang chicken essence is packed with lots of nutrients that are extracted from a while chicken via a refined and time-consuming process. The whole chicken was braised and stewed under high temperature with charcoal fire and its oil was filtered repeatedly. It has also obtained Halal certification this year!

After reading up more, I realised that the set that we received are actually beneficial for the children. In fact, they have chicken essence to meet the health needs of everyone! There are chicken essence for men (good for men who are trying for babies), for pregnancy plan (includes chicken essence for before/after ovulation) and menstrual condition. 

The Tian Yuan Xiang Chicken Essence for Children helps to improve appetite and aids digestion. As Emma is a small and picky eater, I thought it would be great to give it a try. So far, she had tried it twice. The taste was rich and strong but she took it pretty well. For the 2nd time, she did ate much better that day. I plan to let her drink them twice a week, over the weekends.

I've tried them and I love it. It tastes really good and fresh! There is no "canned smell" like those bottled ones. Even though it helps in appetite and digestion, it actually kept me alert for the day. 

The "Chicken Essence for children" box includes 2 types of chicken essence - one for the appetite and the other for digestion. There are 10 pieces of each. Each box of chicken essence is made with 3.5 whole natural chicken

 

Chicken Essence for Appetite

The Chinese herbs used consists of Dioscorae Rhizoma, Poria, Euryales Semen, Hairy Uraria. It nourishes spleen and stomach, expel phlegm, boost appetite and digestion.

Apart from women who are pregnant, on postpartum care and on period, it's suitable for children, teenagers, adults and the aged. Chicken essence is not suitable for people in fever, inflammation and branched-chain organic acidurias (eg. maple syrup urine disease)

Chicken Essence for Digestion

It uses Chinese herbs such as Diosoreae Rhizoma, Poria, Euryales Semen and Nelumbinis Semen, Besides helping to nourish spleen and stomach, expel phlegm, boost appetite and digestion; it also quiet heart and spirit.

It is suitable for children, teenagers, adults, the aged; and even women who are pregnant or on postpartum care. It is not suitable for people with fever or inflammation and branched-chain organic acidurias (eg. maple syrup urine disease).

It comes in small individual frozen packs that are convenient and easy to warm up. 

To thaw it, I first cut the aluminium bag and then heat it up over the stove. You can also heat it in microwave or double boiling to 100 deg c. 

And, the bowl of delicious and nutritious chicken essence is ready within a few minutes!
