Stay Home, Stay Safe with Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde

With the recent rise of Covid-19 cases and heightened alert measures in Singapore, we are now back to staying home. It's the 2nd week of staying at home and we are slowly getting the hang of it. While it is quite a juggle to manage working from home and home based learning, I'm so thankful that we are able to keep the girls safe at home. As a working mother, it's a privilege that I could only dream about in the past.

Our family spent alot of time at our living and dining area. It is the place where we play, watch movie, have dinner and just chill out. Over the last year, it has also became a place where we doing our work. As we spent more time indoor and a construction site opposite our home, it has become increasingly important to keep the air clean and free from pollutants.

Recently, we added the new Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde to our home. It captures virus*, allergens and dust; and destroys formaldehyde, continuously. I love that it doesn't just purifies the air, it also project cool purified air throughout the room so we do not need to rely on air conditioning units all the time.

Combined with the new solid-state formaldehyde sensing technology, the latest Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde brings about many useful technology and features:

1. Senses and reports the air quality constantly
Its integrated sensors constantly analyse the air, while their unique algorithm cross-checks data every second. It diagnoses pollutants at a molecular level, displaying live results on the LCD.

2. Captures gases and ultrafine particles
The HEPA H13 filter caputres 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 mircons. A layer of activated carbon also removes odours and gases including VOCs.

3. Destroys formaldehyde, continuously
The Dyson  catalytic filter continuously traps and breaks down formaldehyde molecules into water and CO2. And it never needs replacing. It has a solid-state sensor to detect formaldehyde molecules – 500 times smaller than 0.1 microns. Maintains precision for the lifetime of the machine.

Formaldehyde is a colourless gas pollutant, released by furniture and wooden products containing formaldehyde-based resins like plywood and fibreboard, insulating materials and do-it-yourself products such as paint, wallpapers, varnishes and household cleaning products. Being 500 times smaller than particles the size of 0.1 microns, it is particularly difficult to capture and if left undetected can lead to prolonged exposure due to continuous release of airborne chemicals, known as off-gassing.

4. Purifies the whole room, tested in 81m3
Dyson air purifiers have Air MultiplierTM technology. It generates the circulation power to draw even distant pollutants into the machine, projecting purified air throughout the room.

5. Fully sealed to HEPA standard
In their latest purifiers, it's not just the filter that meets HEPA H13 standard, it's the whole machine. So what goes inside, stays inside.

6. Project cooled air around the house
Besides purifying the air, it also projects a powerful stream of purified cool airflow. It is able to oscillates up to 350°.

7. 20% quieter
It is acoustically engineered to reduce turbulence, so it's 20% quieter than the previous model.

8. Easy to operate
You can control with the Dyson Link App, remote control or compatible voice services. It is also quick and easy to change the filter. You will be notified on the need to change by the LCD or Dyson Link app.

9. Sleek look and safe
It surely fit into the look of every home! As it doesn't have any blade, it's safe for families with young children. It comes in white/gold and nickel/gold.

10. Guarantee on the machine
Dyson Purify machines have a 2 year parts and labour guarantee

The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde is surely a great addition to every home! Let's stay home and stay safe together!
