Emma turned 10 months old!

10 fabulous months have past and we are less than 2 months away from Emma's first birthday! She is growing up so fast that it is hard to imagine that she was small and helpless some months ago. She is now crawling all over the place, pulling herself to stand and sitting up/down whenever she like. She laughs, blabbers, waves, claps and shake her head. She never fails to surprise us with her new milestones and skills.

Statistics: She is still at 25%tile for her height and weight. She measured 69cm tall at 41+weeks and 7.8kg at 10th month. She is developing well and all on track.

Health: She had a low grade fever (37.6 degree c) few weeks ago but it subsided the same day and it should be due to teething. Her upper front right tooth has cut through soon after (and so, teeth doesn't grow in pairs) and she has 3 tiny teeth now. She also had runny nose. I diffused thieves essential oil and applied diluted myrtle essential oil on the back of her ear loops and nose bridge when she had runny nose. Other than that, she is generally well.

Diet: Same as the previous month - 3 bottles of 200ml, 1 bottle of 160ml before lunch and 2 solid meal a day. Tried some new stuffs like salmon, sweet peas and zucchini :) She is eating well and has tried quite a variety now - brown rice cereal, porridge with fish (threadfin/salmon), minced pork, sweet potato, potato, carrots, pumpkin, spinach, broccoli, sweet peas, tofu, califlower, papaya, banana, apple, avocado. Hoping to introduce egg yolk and more new food.

Sleep: Same as the previous too :) Other than the few nights when we tried to stop her from sucking her slightly sore thumb by putting on mitten over her left hand. She just loves her left thumb and seems like she can't be soothe when sucking her right.

Social/Outings: And yes, I have finally completed my module and weekends are more interesting these days. In addition to the usual, we went on a post exam celebratory dinner with pals, 3 wedding celebrations on 3 consecutive weekends, rider's café/turf city.

Activities: This girl is getting busy now. When she wasn't sleeping or belted up, she will be crawling around, pulling herself up, sitting down/up, checking out her toys and random stuffs (she loves bags! what a young age to start that). She blabbers, laughs, claps, waves and shake her head.

Milestones: She has unlocked many milestones this month! She is able to pull herself up to standing position, sit down from standing position and crawls on fours. And now, she is taking slow steps while holding on to stuffs. A cruiser is on her way :)She also learnt to shake her head. It's so cute to watch her doing that but we sure hope that she will learn to nod soon. Her 3rd tooth has made appearance and this little girl is able to bite harder! Here's one with her 2 bottom teeth before I manage to capture her 3rd one in photo.

Postpartum: I am finally free from lessons and assignments! It's certainly more relaxing and less stressful. I get to do more random stuffs like watching movies or blogging when Emma sleeps. We had a simple celebration for our 100 months together and looking forward to spend a many more 100 months together.

9 months to lose what I have gained over the 9 months of pregnancy, I am finally back to my pre-pregnancy weight since last month (though in different physique, I should probably start exercising to tone up a little). I am thankful to be able to breastfeed Emma and it has certainly helped me to lose all the kilos. Another 2 months to my target! :) it's a love-hate relationship.. more on my breastfeeding journey soon!
